eternal summers
The fall equinox may be just a few days away, but I'm holding onto summer for as long as possible (I refuse to put on any sweaters or boots until at least October). So you can expect to see me in a few more summer staples, like this eye-catching tribal print dress from Volcom. I love the deeper color palette of mustard, cognac, and black — it's appropriate for fall without looking too drab and dark. I can totally picture this number with an oversized cardigan, black tights, and leather booties.
While this dress is pretty fitted, the pleats add unexpected volume and interest (plus I'm just a sucker for pleats in any way, shape, or form). Since it features a shorter hemline, I opted for strappy gladiator sandals to keep the overall look casual and comfortable.
