blazer meets booties

As I said in this Instagram post, I've never met a wedge bootie I didn't like. They are just the perfect shoe. After all, you get the height of a heel without all of the discomfort. And since wedge booties pair well with everything from distressed jeans to a flirty A-line skirt, I say they're absolutely essential for the modern woman's wardrobe. For this look, I chose a black and white floral blazer, a white tank top, and olive green pants to wear with these black wedge booties. I like that the floral pattern adds a bit of femininity against the relatively muted color palette. The pants could have easily been swapped out for a black pencil skirt or denim shorts and the look would have still worked (you gotta love versatile pieces).
