palazzo pants
These fabulous cognac-colored palazzo pants are perfection. They are so perfect that I rarely wear them because I don't want to risk ruining their life expectancy by, say, spilling red wine all over them (which would SO happen considering how clumsy I am). However, yesterday was the first warm day we've had here in Nebraska in what feels like many lifetimes over, so I felt like celebrating by wearing what are probably my favorite pants. To stay in line with the effortless, breezy vibe that these pants give off, I paired them with an equally flowy printed top. I love that the print looks sort of like a Picasso painting with its crazy bursts of color. As I've mentioned before, mixing a vibrant print with a cool neutral is my go-to strategy for standing out, but still looking put together. I topped off the look with some gold chandelier earrings (one of my staples when it comes to accessories), strappy gold/cognac sandals, and my best friend (aka my black Michael Kors handbag).
