Whether's it's a classic LBD for a girls night out or a perfectly tailored button-up for a job interview, we all have that go-to piece for that particular occasion. When it comes to activewear and working out, the story is no different. I love exploring new activewear trends and styles, but I can always count on Nike Pro Core Compression shorts to get the job done. Now I have pretty muscular, thick legs so I need activewear that is mobile, stretchy, and preferably as lightweight as possible. These shorts are all that and more. What I love most about them is that -- despite being a tad on the revealing side -- they make me feel so comfortable because wearing them is like having a second skin.  The fabric clings to my body in all the right places, and provides the mobility to do everything from squatting heavy weights to going for a run downtown. What's more, they're really affordable when compared to most Nike apparel ($28 retail -- but check out your local Nike outlet store for even better deals).

For this urban jog look, I paired black Nike Pro Core Compression shorts with a fuchsia Roxy Athletix half-zip pullover and a dark gray Nike Reversible sports bra.  I also wore my trusty Nike Free 5.0 trainers (I'm already dying for a similar pair because I'm so in love with these!).
