flirty floral

I'm such a sucker for a good floral print. Maybe it's the little six-year-old girl inside who never quite grew up, but whenever I see a pretty floral dress, I have to have it. This number from the Eva Mendes Collection at New York & Company is a real stunner. The vibrant peach and tangerine hues set against the muted shades of taupe and dark brown create such a lush, warm palette -- if a sunset were a dress, it'd be this one. I paired this frock with these lovely rose chalcedony and gold hoop earrings by JES Design Studio. The pink stones perfectly complement the dress, and the gold setting adds just the right amount of sparkle to this look. I love that these earrings are so versatile. You could pair them with a frilly blouse and A-line skirt, or a simple T-shirt and jeans. Either way, you're sure to make an elegant and memorable statement.
