As I've previously discussed, I'm a bit of a minimalist. I like a lot of black and a lot of clean lines. I typically avoid wearing anything too costume-y because there is a distinct difference between gaudy and glamorous. But as I've also previously discussed, the most successful looks often come from taking the biggest sartorial risks. In this case, I pulled out all of the stops, starting with this navy and white coat. The stripes! The brass buttons! The black fur trim! I mean, this coat is essentially outerwear perfection. I layered it over a stunning (and oh-so comfortable) blush-colored shirt dress and black leggings. I completed the look with a chain necklace and these killer gray over-the-knee boots featuring the fiercest detailing (buckles and straps, oh my!).
Go big or go home, right?
